MS Foundation School

We are greatly helped by our many friends,
and in particular the three that you see here

In memory of her mother who died last year, Kushal Schofield who lives in London has provided funding for one year of our nutrition project the 'Fruit and Nut Day' in which we give fruit and a cup of nuts to each child in the school once very two weeks.

Fruit is generally seen as a 'treat' for villagers, who often suffer from ailments due to a very poor diet of pulses and rice in their early years. This has a specially bad effect on babies and the smallest children, who often do not develop properly.

With Kushal's help we hope to get our students used to the idea of making fruit and vegetables a regular part of their diet.

Dr Anne Villems and the staff and users of the Computer Science Department of Tartu University, Estonia, have been very supportive by sponsoring many of our children, plus making some handsome donations for general help.

Anne visited the school while attending a conference in Hyderabad and was very impressed. She talked about it on her return and as a result we have received many sponsorships and additional donations.

John Bingham is Chief Executive Officer of Spider Design, a software company in London, and in addition to sponsoring one of our children he has made two very generous donations for general school use.

This has allowed us to buy and renovate three second-hand computers and some desks to put them on
